I love that an existing home already has a story. Its character, history and quirks give you something to respond to, rather than a blank canvas. Unlike a new build, a renovation asks what’s worth keeping, what needs rethinking, and how old and new can belong together.
That creative problem-solving is what draws me to renovations. It takes a practical understanding of construction and care with the details. I love helping people see the possibilities in a home they’re attached to, whether that means adding space or finding a better way to use what’s already there.
